hi there!
I am sorry for the lack of posting, I am traveling currently!
but, while I am away, I have really tried to look at what I can take advantage of-- whether it be big or small. everybody has those times where they feel down for no reason, but we have to take a look at life, and wonder, "how can I, such a little person out of billions in the world, be affected by something that is so small to others?" sometimes, everybody needs a reminder of what life is: to be happy.
there are so many things that make me happy, but when I am feeling not all happy, all of those moments escape my head.
here is a list of a few simple treasures that make me happy:
a bed to sleep in, food I enjoy eating, clothes that I can wear, family members, friends + something that many people may not realize is so amazing; the internet and today's technology.
if a bad day of yours starts with anything that has to do with the list above, try to rethink it, and consider what you have.
now, a list of more specific things that make me happy:
finding a new song and obsessing over it, getting unexpected presents, hand-me-downs, cats in general, cloudy days, sunrises//sunsets, late night chats with best friends, re-reading my favorite book, dresses//skirts that flow out when you twirl + hand written notes.
these are all treasures that I hope everybody gets to enjoy sometime in there life, but in their own version. we should take advantage (not in a bad way) of what we have. instead of wishing that you had something else, or were somewhere else, don't. enjoy that experience, the one you are experiencing right now. make it a beautiful memory.
so, what are you waiting for? find your little treasures, whether it be traveling around the world, your neighborhood, or even your own imagination. just do what makes you happy, because that is what all of life's little treasures are about!
what are your little treasures of happiness?

hello!!
So today I am going to talk about my recent bedside table redecorating and organization! I feel as if my bedside table always gets messy..and if there's something on the ground around my bedside table, it'll somehow eventually get on it. So I wanted to get inspiration and just clean it up, also because it was getting a little out of hand with how messy it was:
Wow thanks messy monster! Blah!
So to start cleaning, I first started but taking all of my books and magazines out of the pile-into a separate one!
Books on the left, magazines on the right. So now my pile has certainly decreased by a lot! But it really depends on who you are, so if you love shoes, it may be that you take all of your shoes out of the pile (...I don't know)! Yet it really does make a difference on how you look at what you need to do. It changes your mindset of cleaning your room!
Now, it's time to deal with the rest of the stuff- uuugh!
So now I put everything into piles:
~books + magazines
~lotions + candles
~eatable stuff
~hair ties and clips
~buckets/holders
~chapstick
~jewelry holder
~stationary
~etc.
Now that we have done that, you will find that you will say, "Oh, doesn't this belong in the bathroom?" or "How do I have so much chewing gum and why is it all here?" But trust me, you will have your own '???' moment.
Soon, everything will oodle away..WAIT! But make sure you keep the stuff you actually want on your bedside table! I tried to keep as little as I could so that it wouldn't clutter. Just absolutely what I needed!
Here I have my kitty bucket, pencils, lotions and chapstick, a few hair ties, a cough drop, jewelry holder, a little flower decoration, and my angels cards + a pretty quote box!
So now! Everything is pretty much done!! Yay! I love to add little pops into my bedside table, so I also added a candle (that I will not use because it smells so good + it looks good) and my dream journal! It is exactly the amount of stuff I need!
Also, on the bottom of my bookshelf, I have some of my spfavorite books, my nail polish container (it is the stuffed bear one), another cute box + my baby shoes!
Alrighty! That looks like it's about it! Thank you for talking your time to read this- it means a lot! But I actually quite enjoy these thing (odd, right?!) It seems fun to tidy up and make my room a happy place!
Do you enjoy any kind of cleaning?
